# Custom Event Types
> **Available on the Basic plan and above.** If you're on Free, upgrade in the Little Registry admin to unlock the Custom Event Feature.
**Custom event types**
Add custom event types so merchants can choose which occasions to offer when customers set up a registry (weddings, baby showers, birthdays, and so on).
**Recommended products**
Configure recommended products to show as suggested items customers can add to their registry.
**How to enable**
1. Go to your Shopify admin.
2. Open Settings.
3. Select Event Types.
4. Turn on Event Types in your configuration.
