Custom event types Add custom event types so merchants can choose which occasions to offer when customers set up a registry (weddings, baby showers, birthdays, and so on).   1. Go to your Shopify admin.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Event Types.
  4. Turn on Event Types in your configuration.
